History of ETEI, Athgarh
Govt.ETEI , Athgarh Erst. while S.T. School located in the District of Cuttack , Odisha was established in 19.07.1973 . This institution offers certificate courses in teaching and Education Certificates among the popular flagship courses . This institution offers this program in full time mode . The infrastructure of this institution provides better learning environment for the students . Govt. ETEI, Athgarh works out its journey facing a lot of problems and huddles on its path as it had no own building . The sickle of time cut the difficulties and this institution got a place in the hostel building of Biswanath Bidyapitha , Athgarh . Now it has own building and infrastructure to impart knowledge for the Pre-service Teachers for Primary level with well equipped Classroom , Conference hall , Library and Laboratory with pure Drinking water facility . The faculties and staff are very co-operative and their dedication to the institution is appreciable . The relation between student-teachers and employees are very cordial and sociable .

- To impact teacher training program meant for elementary schools and preparing teachers for value added education .

- To support DIET in various research and survey program as well as classroom observation and school monitoring program.
- To train student-teachers as well as faculties on FLN accordingly NEP-2020 .
- To train student-teachers on activity based learning and same to impart at school level .
